Perhaps if the carriers communicated in such a way as to reinforce the agent/client relationship while still being &#039;approachable&#039; within the marketplace.  Are there marketplace or product issues that the agents would actually appreciate the carriers addressing, especially if the outcome of such communication would drive cross-sell/up-sell/referral opportunities for the agent?</description>

Nice talking to you earlier today. Re this blog post, do you expect the Aetnas, Cignas, Hartfords, etc. to reach out to clients and prospects using social media? Or do you think it&#039;ll be left to the distribution channel to do that? I can see agencies doing it. Don&#039;t you think the agencies would be upset with carriers if they tried to get closer to the market?</description>
